Our full blooded and percentage Boer Goats are professionally raised, have amazing colors and are raised to exceed the highest standards. Our goats get lots of love and make excellent pets and in the past, have done nicely in competition.
The health of our herd here at Twisted Pine is taken very seriously. We take many precautions to ensure our goats maintain the best possible health. All breeding age goats are tested annually for Caprine Arthritis Encephalitis Virus (CAE) and Caseous Lymphadenitis (CL) and Johne’s Disease. FAMACHA and fecal samples are utilized to check for parasites, and we only use natural de-wormers (we only use chemical de-wormers when absolutely necessary ). We copper bolus twice a year to help prevent parasites and copper deficiencies. Our feed contains Decoquinate for Cocci prevention. We also supply free choice, top quality minerals and salt blocks. And we add several vitamins and supplements to the feed.
